A wise looking elderly man, small but not quite bent yet, possessing wiry
strength. I don't claim to have much understanding of how magic works or how
magicians mould the magical energy to their will, but Asheren seems to have a
solid grasp of this. His electric bolts and teleporting spells have saved our
lives on more than one occasion. However, he comes across as too reactive, I
would much rather he put his old but knowledgeable mind to more thinking, than
"sleep" spells. I feel he is unaware of his true capabilities, it's
always extremely fast decision making and no second thoughts.
Perhaps he needs to be alone at times to get in touch with his inner-self? He
may be a lost soul still looking for his place.
One other irritating thing is that he tends to hold back information until
everything has almost been spelt out and then drops the final piece of the
puzzle (which may have been useful earlier). Having said all this he is generous
with aid and an excellent source of life-saving spells (ie leaving).
Ferox
A mysterious man whom I cannot trust at the times when most needed. I am
unable to see his true intentions, his face has become so unanimated, it is
difficult to see whether he is out for personal gain or for the good of the
land. I enjoyed Ferox's company early on in our travels, but things started to
become so strange and unclear about his magics, a type of magic I am unaware of,
a dark cold feel to his work made me feel uncomfortable in his presence. The
mysterious resurrection of the soldier at Wilfin manor combined with his calm
attitude and sardonic smile.
A strange one is he, very dark and enigmatic, he does not often speak but
when he does it seems like he has wisdom beyond his years. He has obviously
spent a lot of time in libraries pouring over old parchments and books, his
magic is weak and he does not often cast in anger. I often wonder if the rest of
the team’s lives were in Ferox’s hands, would he keep us alive or would he
turn his back, even if he wasn’t in any danger?
However Ferox has never done anything willingly to harm the party but I often
keep an eye on Ferox, as his actions are difficult to anticipate.
Ly-Sar
Lysar! Well, what can I say, if only I was twenty years younger! The most
faithful of all the team members, I feel her soul has a huge energy to do good
to all. She is trustworthy and thoughtful although at times though I have felt
she hides things from me, and the party but I believe she will withhold
information if she judges it in the party's best interests.
Her tracking and herbalist abilities have come in handy more than once. While
her abilities in combat leave much to be desired she is useful in other ways and
seems to put the interests of others ahead of her own. She is very at one with
her surroundings, enjoys nature and the environment around her. I sense she is
also very important to the group, and I wouldn’t have any second thoughts
about giving my life so she can keep hers.
Biryn
Never have I heard someone talk so much! He must have been a translator in
his previous life. Though he is a formidable fighter, he needs to learn more
patience. He is very knowledgeable of the area and politics we are currently
surrounded by.
A more annoying and egotistical man I have never met, his constant bragging
about his prowess with his sword (a complete and unjustified exaggeration of
course) is sickening and I find myself plotting his 'accidental' death in any
spare moment. Although he claims to be a paladin and wears the seal of a local
paladin enclave, I very much doubt his integrity and see him running or taking
self preservation in any tight situations.
I can see the day coming where he will have to make a choice, and when he
does, his soul will either become great or evil. Also, at times he tries to do
things that he just shouldn’t do. His keen attitude to get into everything is
great but when a specialty is required that he doesn’t have, he should step
back and let others take control which I sense he has difficulty doing. I know
he means well, he is noble and dedicated, as long as he learns temperance and
that you don't always need to beat your way out of trouble; with experience I
believe he will make a fine warrior. He can be very headstrong and impatient but
generally tries to do all this for the good of the party. He is strong and
confident and invaluable in a fight.
Ulrich
A great clanking bull of a man - not particularly big and not particularly
handsome. Although not a subtle man nevertheless he can be very diplomatic at
times, as well. At other times however, he can be impetuous and headstrong often
using brute force over intellect. Ulrich is a character that always brings light
to any situation, even those that don't need it! He is a great contribution to
the group and always has fresh ideas though he is easily distracted and
confused. In the heat of a moment, could be in a fight or picking up a lady in a
bar, he needs to concentrate and not let himself get sidetracked.
I see a lot of potential in Ulrich, and would be at his side to help if
necessity arose. Ulrich is strong in character and fast with a blade. I enjoy
Ulrich's company, he is thoughtful, but greed and petty thievery does not sit
well with him. Calm, focused, reliable, funny and friendly are words that fit
Ulrich well.
Berrak
I feel he does things for himself and not for others. (Lock up your goods (hehehehe!)
Greedy and sneaky, but a likeable member of the party. Generally very
trustworthy but I would like to see where his priorities would lie if another
member had something he wanted.
Berrak's sneaky rogue skills prove useful when there is a possible ambush. I
like Berrak - he has planned ideas in tight situations that have kept us alive.
Careful with his thinking, not one to rush in early, he prefers to check the lay
of the land and use his skills of stealth before moving to his skills of brawn.
Although he is courageous and agile in some situations, his actual combat
tactics seem to revolve around taking a pot shot with his bow then running as
far away as he can get. Interested in the good of the party but may have
difference of opinions when it comes to matters of the law, so watch out for
trouble between him and Biryn.
Sira
Has a child-like innocence about him, sometimes evident in his insistence to
follow where he should not, he's young and obviously has a lot to learn about
survival. Eager to learn more he takes his martial arts craft very
seriously.
He moves with care and is improving steadily, although he sometimes has
spectacular failures he also has equally spectacular successes. I do like him,
but perhaps he should calm down a little and pay more attention to details
rather than thinking about his next blow, he will develop into a fine fighter if
he can rely more on his own instincts and listen to others less.
A deeply spiritual man he often takes time to himself to meditate and
reflect, a foreign concept to me, but it seems to work for him.
